AATEA was established in 2000 as a vehicle to grow kaupapa Māori influence and contribution to shaping Aotearoa New Zealand’s future. Our diverse team is known for being visionary and strategic advisors, researchers, facilitators, and kaupapa Māori design innovators who build authentic and strong relationships from the paepae to the boardroom to The Terrace.

We offer coaching to Māori and non-Māori executives in need of growing their cultural capacity, confidence and support networks.
Language Services
We have certified te reo Māori translators on our team who are experienced translators of legislation, government reports, PR materials and fiction.
